We have been hacking and building in AI for more than twenty years. Long before LLMs, we were advising the companies and government agencies on AI and building some of the world’s first chatbots and expert systems, trained back then by a mix of computer scientists and psychologists.

Since then we have held engineering and business leadership roles at some of the best companies in the world, including Microsoft and IBM. We have founded startups, several acquired by Fortune 500 companies, and built high-performing machine learning and credit models used across thousands of customers to power millions of dollars in lending.

Members of our team have advised the largest banks, technology companies, and heads of state around the world, at McKinsey and beyond. We have invested in leading technology companies of our generation and served on boards to help founders grow.

We studied and taught at Harvard, Stanford, and other schools, but our most important lessons have come from building AI ourselves. We are based in Silicon Valley, backed by some of the world’s leading venture funds and angel investors.
